Skeleton Crew Studio, together with publisher Devolver Digital, has announced the release of the martial arts and fortune-telling adventure Forestrike on PC. A new trailer has appeared.
Forestrike is a combat roguelike where each death brings you closer to victory before the real battle. The player uses the foresight of the main character Yu to test strategies before the battle and ultimately achieve a final victory without the help of this ability.
Each game cycle generates unique encounters, so adaptation, improvisation, and skill are necessary for progress. The player holds back hordes of brutal enemies, and in order to outwit opponents in dynamic battles, techniques can be enhanced and customized using Master techniques.
The developers have created detailed landscapes and atmospheric locations inspired by classic kung fu films in a pixel art style.
