Crowsworn Showcased at Xbox Partner Preview: A New Metroidvania in the Spirit of Hollow Knight
The metroidvania Crowsworn, where the player fights ordinary enemies and bosses, jumps on platforms, and searches for secrets, was shown during the Xbox Partner Preview.
The premiere is scheduled for PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass.
Crowsworn is a dark, hand-animated metroidvania where the hero explores the cursed land of Fearanndal, infested with monsters and holding traces of a long-gone humanity.
The emphasis is on dynamic battles, with dozens of types of weapons and skills promised. The large, interconnected world hides many secrets, more than 120 types of enemies and more than 30 challenging bosses, as well as an extensive rune system for creating your own combinations of abilities.
The Souls-style story gradually reveals the nature of the curse and the fate of the kingdom, forcing the player to explore and fight. The developers promise an interesting story and a driving soundtrack.
