ZOOPUNK Action Game from the Creators of F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch Gets First Gameplay Trailer
The game is being developed for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The release date is currently unknown.
The creators of the metroidvania F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch presented the first gameplay trailer for their new project, ZOOPUNK, as part of the Xbox Partner Preview show.
The game, announced back in January 2025, is a prequel to F.I.S.T. and tells about the earliest events in the Animal Punk world. ZOOPUNK takes place decades before the events of F.I.S.T., at the dawn of the First Torch War, when the discovery of the "fire seed" led to a technological breakthrough and simultaneously awakened mechanical debris, turning it into intelligent and ruthless combat machines.
Unlike F.I.S.T., ZOOPUNK is positioned not as a classic metroidvania, but as a full-fledged role-playing action game. Players will find war-torn regions: wastelands, an industrial fortress, a rare oasis of purity, and a citadel.
