The size of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond for Nintendo Switch 2 has been revealed thanks to Japanese download cards that reached fans before release.
The packaging indicates that the game takes up 29 GB, which is more than four times the size of Metroid Prime Remastered (6.8 GB). The Deku Deals portal clarified that the Switch version weighs 28.939 GB, while the Switch 2 version weighs 31.623 GB.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is the tenth main game in the series. Players as Samus Aran explore the planet Vyros and battle the bounty hunter Sylux. The game features object scanning, new psychic abilities that allow you to control devices and direct attacks, and the Vi-0-La motorcycle. Members of the Galactic Federation help Samus in battles, and the Joy-Con for Switch 2 can be used as a mouse for precise control.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is scheduled for release on December 4, 2025.
