Not everyone cares that the new Rockstar Games title could break the awards record.
Some are already predicting that the upcoming GTA 6 will be able to beat The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt's record for the number of awards (10 wins in nominations at the Golden Joystick Awards in four years). However, the "voice of Geralt" from The Witcher doesn't care about such things.
A GamesRadar+ journalist met with the voice actor of the famous witcher at the Golden Joystick Awards. He told Doug Cockle that GTA 6 could surpass the absolute record, and he made it clear in response that he was not interested in the battle for awards:
Oh, to be honest, I'm not interested in this game at all. I think The Witcher 3 is a great game, and GTA 6, when it comes out, will most likely be a great game too. What will be, will be. Just enjoy your games, have fun with them
While the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for November 2026, some players speculate that Rockstar may postpone the release date again.
