Hobby World Publishing announced that pre-orders have started on the CrowdRepublic crowdfunding platform for the cooperative story-driven board game "The Committee", which takes place in an alternative USSR.
Currently, the board game can be purchased for 3990 rubles (the planned retail price is 4990 rubles). People who pre-order will receive two additional and unique main task cards as a gift.
The board game "The Committee", designed for 2-4 people, will turn gamers into agents of a secret state organization. They will have to travel around the country, investigate alarming signals, and hunt for anomalies.
Participants will face difficult checks, crisis situations, an endless basic mode, plus many scenarios, each of which adds new rules, components, and unexpected twists to the game.
It will be possible to evaluate six agents with unique personal stories and tasks, receive special bonuses, experience the "stress" mechanic, and immerse yourself in a retro-fantastic world that combines elements of conspiracy and science fiction.
Pre-order customers will receive a box with the game in December 2025. In the near future, the team also plans to announce an additional "stretch goal" for the current crowdfunding campaign.
