British voice actress Jennifer English, known to gamers as the voice of Shadowheart in Baldur’s Gate 3, Latenna in Elden Ring, and Mael in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, answered a question from a GamesRadar+ journalist about the use of generative AI in video game development at the Golden Joystick Awards 2025 ceremony.
Don't. Just don't. Use your beautiful, creative human brains. I understand that AI is a convenient tool, but it shouldn't be a replacement for creativity. Mistakes are beautiful, mistakes are wonderful, imperfections are wonderful. Leave them, keep it human. Be cool, guys, don't be weird.
