Amidst the recent announcement of the start of filming for the third season of the live-action series \"One Piece. Grand Line,\" Netflix has introduced new members of the cast. Joining the project are newcomer Avdo Avdo, who will play Mr. 1, and Daisy Head (\"Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves\"), who landed the role of Miss Doublefinger - also known as the \"Poisonous Spider\" of the Hall.
Both characters are members of the criminal organization \"Baroque Works,\" which further confirms that the third season will indeed adapt the Alabasta arc from Eiichiro Oda's original manga.
Filming is taking place in Cape Town (South Africa), where the first two seasons were previously filmed. The premiere of the second season is scheduled for March 10, 2026, but Netflix has already started production on the next one to reduce the gap between releases. The decision to renew the series even before the release of the second season was made in August 2025 - a step that demonstrates the platform's confidence in the project and its future.
It was also previously reported that Xolo Maridueña will play Portgas D. Ace - Luffy's adoptive older brother - in the third season.
