Ahead of the game's release, Activision representatives said that the Call of Duty franchise was too popular to fail. The company wasn't worried about competition with Battlefield 6.
Although Black Ops 7 was released just two weeks ago, Activision has already decided to offer a 15% discount on the new shooter — and this isn't as part of Black Friday. The offer is valid until December 2.
The new Call of Duty is showing far from the best results. It was previously reported that in EU countries, sales of the shooter are 63% lower than Battlefield 6, and 50% worse than Black Ops 6 ("digital" + physical media). In the UK, digital sales fell by 61% compared to BO6. In Japan, Black Ops 7 showed the worst result in the last 20 years.
