Hello Games has confirmed that they are continuing to work on the new Light No Fire project. As studio managing director Sean Murray said in a Steam post, "another small team" is overseeing the creation of the game.

Light No Fire was announced at The Game Awards 2023. The game will unfold on a planet the size of Earth with a fantastic visual style, diverse creatures, and procedural generation. A cooperative mode is provided.
