Studio 1047 Games announced that the beta testing of Splitgate 2 will end on December 4, 2025. In a post on Steam, the studio confirmed that the game's relaunch will take place later in December.
The end of the beta also means the end of the season and active Battle Passes. Players will lose their seasonal ranking progress.
Details about the relaunch have not yet been disclosed, but 1047 Games promised to take into account player feedback after the announcement of the shooter's rework in July. At the same time, the studio noted that the current version of the game will remain available, including the planned "Chapter 3" update, but the release of the new version is scheduled for 2026.
1047 Games CEO Ian Proulx said:
It feels like it's a beta. There are still bugs. There are features that are missing — obviously, not every game has to include everything, but there are certain things that should be in the finished product.
I don't know exactly what that's going to look like yet. I think we've already done a lot of round-based modes and we're going to support them, and players just want to play, shoot, have a good time, and achieve goals.
Splitgate 2 was originally released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The relaunch will be on the same platforms.
