Thanks to the Kalypso board game, players from Russia will also be able to visit the post-apocalyptic world swallowed by the sea, acquire floating settlements, and help survivors cope with various difficulties.
Lavka Games Publishing has announced that it will release the Kalypso board game in Russian, which raised over 21 million rubles on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform.
This is a survival game for 1-4 people, in which gamers will build a floating settlement from the wreckage of the post-apocalypse in a world swallowed by the sea. In conditions where the Earth's surface is lost under rising waters, people must save everything they can to cope with storms, overcome shortages of various things, and adapt to the changing oceanic landscape.
Players will play tiles, expand their settlement, manage resources, erect buildings, and direct survivors across platforms made of rusty metal and drifting wood.
According to the team, thoughtful placement of objects opens up new opportunities, and weather conditions and common goals force players to cooperate or compete for valuable supplies.
It is not yet known when exactly Kalypso will appear in Russia.
