The authors of Songs of Conquest have published an update plan for the PC version of the pixel strategy game.
On December 7, 2025, the Tales update will start, where Mehri will be the main character. The Tales concept includes story missions that will answer several old questions from the campaign.
The team notes a slight rebranding — story maps will be combined into a single section, with updated menus and presentation.
The next major addition is Tale of Kastus Maal, due out in the spring of 2026. This is a DLC with a new Magister, four missions, new game mechanics and artifacts. The only thing that will not be included is a new "Song", as its production requires a lot of resources.
The developers also confirmed active work on the new Yulan faction with reference to Chinese themes. The team has started the animation stage and showed the first units.
The Rise Eternal add-on will also be released in the spring of 2026.
