The Game Awards 2025 will take place on December 11, 2025. In addition to announcements, the event will present awards to the best games. In most categories, the decision is made by journalists: 100 editorial offices from around the world form 90% of the nominees and choose the winners.
There is a category in which the media has no influence — Player’s Voice. Here, the winner is chosen by the players. Voting takes place in several stages. Until December 4, fans choose 10 games from 30 proposed. On December 4, the second round starts: you can vote for 5 out of 10 leaders. Finally, on December 8, the final vote opens, where from 5 remaining games you need to choose one that will receive the public award.
