Artist N² / ANTIREAL reported that the dispute with Bungie and Sony regarding plagiarism in Marathon has been resolved in her favor.
Previously, she accused the studio of using her 2017 posters without permission in the game's alpha. The artist noted online that the issue has been resolved. The terms of the agreement are not disclosed, but the statement hints at compensation or another acceptable outcome.
The story began after N² published evidence of unauthorized use of her work. Bungie investigated the allegations, admitted to plagiarism, and named the employee responsible for transferring the images. At the same time, the studio promised to compensate for the damage and emphasized that it intends to respect the rights of independent authors.
The dispute is closed, and attention is shifting to the further development of the project.
