Initially, Nintendo was preparing the game only for the first Switch, but due to development problems, the project was released on two generations. Despite the eight-year age of Switch 1, the game runs stably.

On Switch 2, two modes are available: "quality 60 FPS" and "performance 120 FPS." The first Switch offers stable 60 FPS. The main differences concern resolution. Switch 2 delivers 1440p with upscaling to 4K in quality mode and 1080p in performance mode. Textures, shadows, and detail are improved. On Switch 1, it's 900p in docked mode and about 540p in portable mode, but the visual impression remains at a good level.

Both versions turned out to be close in quality: most of the development was done for Switch 1, and only then for the improved version for Switch 2. Performance remains at a stable 60 or 120 frames per second. Switch 2 also wins in terms of loading times — the new console is five times faster.

Retro Studios ensured technical execution at a high level: Switch 2 stands out with effects and smoothness, while Switch 1 proves that the platform can still handle it.
