Valve and Epic Games platforms did not want to release the game due to sexual content and the promotion of violence against animals.
The psychological horror game about a horse farm, Horses, has become a bestseller in the GOG store and on the Itch.io platform.
Humble Bundle, which suddenly removed the game a few days before its release on December 2, has already returned it to sale. Representatives of the platform explained to journalists that they "saw a wave of publications in the press, temporarily removed the project for reassessment, conducted a full review and came to the conclusion that, despite the harsh content, there is nothing in the game that would justify its removal".
The developers call Horses "a mysterious first-person horror game that blurs the line between reality and the darkest corners of the imagination". The game takes place on a farm where naked people in horse masks are kept and used as livestock. It is because of such themes that the project was not allowed into Steam and Epic Games Store.
