Developers responded to a major balance issue.
Saber Interactive has released a small update for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Hotfix 11.1 includes a number of fixes and balance adjustments.
For example, the heavy bolter with optics will deal 13% more damage, and the "cheating" tactic no longer works in PvP:
Fixed an issue where the Assault Marine could one-shot an enemy using the new dash attack with any melee weapon.
Crash fixes have also been implemented, geometry issues on some maps have been resolved, and localization and user interface fixes have been made.
