VK Play has added a feature that allows you to combine Steam and VK Play libraries in one launcher.
After synchronizing with Steam, all Valve platform games appear in the VK Play library. To install and launch them through the VK Play launcher, authorization and an installed Steam client are required, but you no longer need to open it manually.
Library synchronization is carried out through the Steam block in the launcher. By clicking on the "Connect Steam" button, you can see the side panel where you need to log in. If the privacy settings in Steam hide information about games and the library, the launcher will show exactly which parameters need to be opened. Progress is displayed in the downloads tab, the Steam nickname appears next to it, and a filter by platforms.

In the future, VK plans to implement the purchase of Steam keys directly in VK Play with automatic activation and adding the game to the launcher's shared library, as well as add separate pages in VK Play for Steam games with achievements, statistics and news.
