Soon the world of American Truck Simulator will be expanded with another state.
The creators of the truck driver simulator American Truck Simulator have presented a development diary dedicated to the Illinois DLC.
SCS Software has published a selection of shots with landscapes of the virtual version of Illinois in ATS.
The state is located in the heart of the Midwest. While fulfilling orders, you will be able to see wind power plants, forests and many fields:
Agriculture is the foundation of Illinois' economy, with more than three-quarters of the state's land area devoted to farmland. Fields of corn, soybeans, hay and wheat dominate the countryside along I-57, I-72 and many rural highways. To accurately convey these iconic landscapes, our teams have created new species of prairie grasses, flowering plants, and improved crop varieties that will bring the fields to life in every season.
You can add the Illinois DLC for American Truck Simulator to your wishlist on Steam via the following link; the release date has not yet been announced.
As usual, the presented shots are from the "work in progress" series, i.e. do not reflect the final quality of the content.
