Poor decisions can lead to the flooding of Nova Roma.
Lion Shield studio and publisher Hooded Horse have presented a demo version of Nova Roma on PC in Steam.
This is a city-building simulator set in Ancient Rome. Players will have to redirect rivers, search for resources, establish infrastructure, and also not forget about higher powers — problems may arise if the gods are angered:
Lead a group of citizens who have set out to new lands to build Nova Roma there – a New Rome, a stronghold of everything that once made the empire famous. At first, you will only have a modest village at your disposal. Appease the gods by building luxurious temples, provide the citizens with everything they need, and build a society that will become an example for the whole world for the next thousand years.
When the game is fully launched in early access, it will feature additional technologies for later stages of the game, advanced buildings and production chains, as well as advanced combat systems.
Nova Roma is scheduled for release on January 22, 2026. The Steam page is available at the following link. The demo version has received "very positive" reviews, with a rating of 95%.
