Although Rockstar Games has not yet announced plans to adapt the Red Dead Redemption series, the star of "Supernatural" and "The Walking Dead" has already expressed a desire to play the main role.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the actor known for his roles as Negan in "The Walking Dead" and John Winchester in "Supernatural", answered a question during a fan meeting about whether he would like to play Arthur Morgan, the main character of Red Dead Redemption 2.
"That's even being discussed. My favorite genre is Westerns, and there are no competitors here. My son plays this game, and it's just amazing. I would do it for free."
Although Rockstar Games has not yet announced a film or series based on Red Dead Redemption, the series itself, with its cinematic narrative and charismatic characters, has long been of interest to fans and producers. If the company does decide to make a film adaptation, it already has at least one candidate.
