John Gonzales had no complaints about the first season.
In an interview with PC Gamer, lead writer of Fallout: New Vegas, John Gonzales, admitted that he really liked the first season: he praised the "delightful complexity" of the world and called Maximus "a fascinating perspective for getting to know the Brotherhood of Steel." At the same time, the second season evokes conflicting emotions in him.

According to him, even among dedicated fans of the game, his name is known much less often than Todd Howard or Josh Sawyer, although Gonzales was largely responsible for the world, characters, and history of New Vegas.
The premiere of the second season of the Fallout series will take place on December 17.
