At The Game Awards 2025, Bandai Namco and Project Aces presented Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, the new installment in the flight simulator series.
The trailer showed pilots, their complex maneuvers in the air, and the characteristic sounds of jet aircraft. The video also showcased story inserts from the campaign: how pilots live and how they interact with each other.
Ace Combat 8 will offer an expanded single-player campaign and multiplayer, where players can fight each other. The game offers almost photorealistic visualization of aerial combat.
The release is scheduled for 2026 for PC on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
