About a month ago, rumors surfaced that Blizzard was preparing an announcement for Diablo IV at The Game Awards 2025.

At the ceremony, the studio confirmed these reports: the corporation has been working on a new expansion with fresh content.

The DLC will feature two new classes: one of them is Paladin, and the second specialization has not been revealed. Players will once again face Mephisto, and Lilith will return.

Lord of Hatred will add a new region, Scovos.

The plot sounds like this:

After Vessel of Hatred, a new chapter leads players to the final battle with Mephisto, whose influence threatens to distort Sanctuary. Lilith returns, her last words come true, forcing a dangerous alliance.

Blizzard announced the release date - April 28, 2026.
