Dataminers spoiled the surprise, but the developers can still surprise.
Recently, Blizzard Entertainment announced the premium Lord of Hatred expansion for Diablo IV.
The developers continue to reveal content and now invite players to check out the gameplay for the new class - the focus is on the Paladin. Dataminers reported the mention of this class in the game files back in the summer.
It is known that two new classes will be introduced in Diablo IV, but the second one has not yet been revealed:
Infuse your hammer and shield with the light of the Heavens and bring holy justice to those who threaten the existence of Sanctuary. The Paladin is a versatile hero who strikes down demons with heavy melee attacks and burns them with abilities granted by the Light. The grim silhouette of the second class is already looming on the horizon. Its overwhelming power will become available with the release of the Lord of Hatred expansion.
The Lord of Hatred expansion for Diablo IV is scheduled for release on April 28, 2026.
