Remedy Entertainment has confirmed long-standing rumors: the sequel to Control is titled Control Resonant and will be released in 2026.
Jesse Faden, the main character of the original game and the current director of the Federal Bureau of Control, will no longer be a playable character. An unknown evil force has broken out of the Oldest House, and the Bureau's leadership has decided to release her younger brother Dylan, previously considered too dangerous, from his long-term imprisonment.
Now Dylan will become the protagonist. His abilities, judging by the first materials, are heavily focused on close combat, so the gameplay promises to feel very different from the original Control.
