Nioh 3 Demo Coming to PS5 in January

Team Ninja will release a demo version of Nioh 3 on PS5 and PC via Steam on January 29, 2026. This was announced by producer Fumihiko Yasuda, who presented a new trailer with dynamic battles and the first glimpses of encounters with new bosses.

Progress from the demo version will carry over to the full game, so players will retain their leveling results and collected equipment. The demo will feature online co-op for three people, allowing you to try out the updated combat system in advance.

Early buyers of the full version will receive bonus armor sets based on the heroes of previous installments:

• Youngblood Armor (Samurai) - William's set from the first Nioh;
• Lone Wolf's Armor (Ninja) - Hide's armor from Nioh 2, unlocked via the Hellfrost Armor Set bonus.

Nioh 3 will be released on February 6, 2026.
