Timberline Studio has announced that the culinary fantasy Beastro will be released on PlayStation 5. Previously, versions for Xbox Series and PC were confirmed, with a release on all platforms scheduled for spring 2026. At the same time, the developers released a demo version for PC, which is already available on Steam.
The story unfolds in the village of Palo Pori, inhabited by artisans and gourmets. Outside the protective wall, monsters are awakening, and well-fed heroes become the last line of defense. The player takes on the role of a young chef, Panko, who has to manage a tavern, take care of ingredient supplies, and please visitors.
The culinary aspect is closely linked to the development of the settlement. Players collect resources, grow vegetables and fruits, care for animals, and search for wild herbs to expand the menu and increase the restaurant's reputation. The cooking process is presented as mini-games where it is important to properly chop, fry, and combine ingredients, experimenting with recipes.
The prepared dishes directly affect the combat deck of the Guardians — brave warriors who go to fight monsters. Each ingredient adds a new card, and flavor combinations determine the characters' abilities. Battles are conducted in a turn-based card game format.
Beastro will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.
