At The Game Awards 2025, the highly anticipated Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 set a record — the project by Sandfall Interactive took home nine awards, including "Game of the Year."
French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated the developers on their success:

This is not the first time Macron has paid attention to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 — he previously congratulated the game's creators when they sold a million copies.
