The season system has reached another Bethesda project.
In December, Bethesda returned to Fallout Shelter and introduced a major update for the project. It included new content and seasons.
Seasons have appeared in the Steam version of Fallout Shelter, as well as on mobile devices:
Build an experimental vault, battle through new quests and challenges, earn rewards from the season pass (including new items!), and take them with you to your main vault.
The first season is called "Viva New Vegas!" — you can unlock new residents, weapons, and armor from the series.
In addition, the "Fight for Power" storyline of 8 quests was introduced. Characters from the Amazon Fallout series will be able to settle in the player's vault: Lucy, Maximus, and the Ghoul.
There is also other content in the style of the series: themes for the vault, clothing, weapons, and a new pet, CX404.
The developers also celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Fallout franchise — they prepared the "Search in the Dark" storyline of 6 quests:
[it] will tell how an attempt to find decorations for a party led to another, very sinister, find. The materials for the 25th anniversary of Fallout include the Ed-Ghoul and Vault 76 Overseer residents.
