Tripwire Interactive's shark action game is now available on all current platforms.
The mobile version of Maneater has been released — an action RPG in which the player controls a man-eating shark, avenging the death of its mother. The game is available on iOS and Android devices, including in the Russian segment of Google Play and the App Store.
The project, developed by Tripwire Interactive and published by HandyGames, offers the same set of content as the PC and console versions. Players can explore the open locations of the Gulf Coast, hunt humans and marine predators, complete tasks, and gradually evolve from a pup to a megalodon.
The mobile version includes seven large regions, a day/night cycle, and a full set of upgrades and customizations. The controls are adapted for touch screens, with gamepad and Russian language support provided.
Maneater is distributed on a "try before you buy" model: users can complete the initial stages for free — from pup to young shark. Unlocking the full version is required for a complete playthrough. It costs 449 rubles on Google Play and the App Store.
The original Maneater was released on PC and consoles several years ago and was warmly received by the audience. On Steam, the game has over 15,000 reviews, 89% of which are positive.
