Memory sticks have become a super-rare item. Prices reach hundreds of thousands of rubles.
Battlestate Games decided to add realism to Escape from Tarkov: now RAM sticks in the game have the status of "super-rare" items, the prices of which can reach tens and even hundreds of thousands of rubles. They are offered to be exchanged for top items such as rifles, weapon attachments, and others.
In recent months of 2025 (especially from September to December), prices for RAM (DRAM, including DDR4 and DDR5) have risen sharply due to a global shortage caused by a boom in demand for data centers, AI servers, and high-performance HBM memory. In some cases, the price increase was 300%.
Analysts (TrendForce and others) predict that high prices will remain at least until mid-2026, and possibly longer (until 2027–2028), until new capacity is introduced. No decline is expected in the coming months — rather further growth.
