Recently, Larian Studios boss Swen Vincke gave an interview and shared information about sales — the total circulation of Baldur's Gate 3 exceeded 20 million copies.
The success of the game allowed Larian Studios to independently finance the creation of a new Divinity.
Having such resources will allow Larian to more actively experiment with the story and gameplay mechanics of Divinity (Vincke previously said that it would be the studio's largest game).
