Prime Video has clarified the release time for the second season of the show based on the Fallout series.
Prime Video has announced a change to the release date of the second season of the "Fallout" series. The new episodes will now premiere on December 16 at 6:00 PM Pacific Time, instead of December 17 as previously announced. However, this does not change anything for viewers in Russia: the premiere will still take place on December 17 at 5:00 AM Moscow time — it's all about the time zone difference.
The series will be released on a weekly schedule. The second season has eight episodes, and the finale is scheduled for February 4, 2026. Unlike the first season, which Prime Video released in its entirety, the sequel has been decided to stretch for almost two months.
In the second season of "Fallout," the plot shifts towards one of the most iconic regions of the universe — New Vegas. It is there that Lucy MacLean and the Ghoul are headed, traversing the Mojave Desert. The finale of the first season already hinted at this route: Lucy's father, Hank MacLean, went to Vegas, taking the Brotherhood of Steel power armor with him and leaving behind a long chain of questions — it's time to answer them.
At the same time, viewers will see how New Vegas has changed in fifteen years. The events of the second season unfold fifteen years after the end of the game — and in the real world, fifteen years have also passed since its release. At the same time, Amazon clarified in advance that the player's choice will remain unchanged: the authors will play out the variability of endings through distorted memories and an "unreliable narrator."
We'll find out what comes of it soon.
