According to Deadline, British actor Zachary Hart, who has landed one of the regular roles, has joined the cast of Netflix's Assassin's Creed series. In recent years, he has been actively working in theater and television, although his portfolio is dominated by minor characters — including in the series "Peaky Blinders", "The Witcher: Blood Origin", "Slow Horses" and other projects.
Hart will join the already approved Toby Wallace and Lola Petticrew, who are considered the central characters of the future show. Details of his role have not yet been disclosed.
Assassin's Creed Netflix describes as a "high-octane thriller" about a secret war between two powerful factions. The plot will unfold against the backdrop of historical events, but the story will focus on completely new characters who have not appeared in Ubisoft games.
Production of the series is scheduled for 2026, and filming will take place in Italy. It was previously assumed that the first season could touch on the era of Ancient Rome, but this information has not yet received official confirmation.
