The release of Terminator: Survivors, planned for 2025, has been postponed indefinitely. Developer and publisher Nacon announced that creating an open-world game about a character who survived Judgment Day required more resources and time than anticipated.
The developers have also canceled the cooperative mode. Creative Director Marco Ponte explained on Steam that this was necessary to provide players with an authentic experience in a game based on shooting and exploring the post-Judgment Day world.
Nacon Studio Milan confirmed that the game will not be released in early access. This will give the team the opportunity to calmly refine the project and make the first steps in the wasteland a complete experience. After announcing the new release date, the developers will conduct closed tests for fans with the signing of a non-disclosure agreement.
