The Horror Game Awards 2025 Names the Best Horror Games of the Year
The Horror Game Awards 2025 announced the winners in key categories, including story, sound design, and technical solutions. Silent Hill f from Konami was the undisputed triumph of the evening, taking home the titles of "Game of the Year," "Best Narrative Game," and "Technical Achievement."
The acting performance of Konatsu Kato, who played the main character Hinako Shimizu, was also recognized. The actress admitted that working on the project was so intense that it sometimes felt like a threat to her mental health.
Both major projects and indie games received awards. DOOM: The Dark Ages won the award for Best Soundtrack, Resident Evil Requiem became the most anticipated horror game, and indie games were recognized in key categories.
