According to reports from Asian supply chain sources, NVIDIA may significantly reduce the production volumes of GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs in the first half of 2026. According to the Board Channels forum, total shipments during this period may decrease by 30–40% compared to the same period in 2025.

The reason for the reduction is not only the shortage of GDDR7 video memory for GPUs, but also general availability issues for various types of memory, including GDDR6, DDR5, and DDR4 for motherboards. In addition, NVIDIA is rumored to adjust its chip allocation strategy among partners in mainland China to better adapt to changes in the ready-made assembly segment and maintain a balance of supply and demand.

The source Benchlife partially confirms these rumors, although it does not specify the exact percentage of the reduction. According to their information, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5060 Ti models with 16 GB GDDR7 will be the first to be adjusted in terms of supply — these cards are considered the most cost-effective in the Blackwell line.
