Studio TeamKill Media has showcased gameplay for Code Violet. The game combines horror and sci-fi, reminiscent of Dino Crisis, and transports the player to the distant future, where humanity struggles to survive on the planet Trappist 1-E. The video demonstrates dark corridors, stealth movement, and survival with limited resources.
Particular attention was drawn to the visual decisions, focused on the main character, Violet Sinclair. The developers are following the example of Stellar Blade, showing her appearance and offering sets with revealing costumes with names like "Ms. Sassy Sinclair", "Big Sky Cowgirl" and "Pinup Swimsuit".
The player controls a woman from the past who is tasked with becoming a surrogate mother for a barren XXV century colony. Violet awakens in a bioengineering complex and survives using stealth mechanics. The developers promise that every bullet will be worth its weight in gold, and players will have to wisely decide which items to take with them and which to discard.
Code Violet will be released on January 10, 2025 on PS5.
