Mintrocket has shared details about the upcoming In the Jungle DLC for Dave the Diver, which the studio calls the game's largest story expansion. The add-on adds about 10 hours of new content, including systems, locations, and mechanics.
Dave leaves the familiar Blue Hole and heads to a new freshwater environment. The main location will be the Utara village, where players will explore the world, complete side quests, and interact with residents.
A new Bancho Grill restaurant will appear in the village, where Dave will serve customers on several levels. The menu includes freshwater fish dishes. A new freshwater lake and the Jungle Gun weapon set, which turns into a net, shotgun, sniper rifle, or standard weapon, have also been added.
The game perspective has become more isometric. New mini-games, jungle activities, and joint tasks with other characters will appear, which will help develop Bancho Grill and support the village.
Mintrocket has confirmed a mobile version of the game, completely redesigned for touch controls. The release will start with China, and the global launch is scheduled for 2026. A physical version with the included DLC will be released on PS5 and Switch 2 in 2026.
