PlayStation Names the Indie Hits of 2025 Worth Playing
2025 is coming to an end, and there are no major releases to expect. But this is a great opportunity to pay attention to independent games, according to Sony.
The independent games sector has offered many interesting projects this year, and choosing a few is incredibly difficult.
The company highlighted 10 indie games that are definitely worth paying attention to: — Baby Steps, Ball x Pit, Blue Prince, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Despelote, Dispatch, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Lumines Arise, Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo, and Sword of the Sea.
Some of these projects, including Hollow Knight: Silksong and Dispatch, are available as part of the PlayStation Winter Sale, which runs until January 22.
Sony notes that these products represent only a small part of the incredible creative potential of the indie game world. It is pleased to support creative projects that go beyond genres and looks forward to further releases.
