Amazon is preparing a reality show based on Fallout Shelter - insider
After the success of the Fallout series, Amazon seems to be considering new formats for developing the franchise.
According to insider Jeff Sneider, the success of the Fallout series has inspired Amazon to a new experiment. The company is allegedly working on a reality show called Fallout Shelter, thematically related to the game of the same name.
Sneider claims that the project is conceived as a reality competition. Participants will have to live in a stylized "shelter", complete tasks and compete for the grand prize. The concept directly refers to Fallout Shelter, where players manage the Vault-Tec corporation's shelter and monitor the survival of its inhabitants.
It is reported that Jonathan Nolan and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, who also oversee the main Fallout series, may become the showrunners of the project. There is no official confirmation from Amazon yet.
