The company is keeping the promise it made back in 2024.

NVIDIA has confirmed that starting January 1, 2026, all paid subscriptions to the GeForce NOW cloud gaming service will be limited to 100 hours of gaming time per month. This change, announced back in 2024, will affect the Performance (formerly Priority) plan for $9.99 per month and the Ultimate plan for $19.99.

After exhausting the limit, users will be able to purchase additional blocks of 15 hours: for $2.99 on the Performance plan and for $5.99 on Ultimate. Any exceeding of the limit is rounded up to the nearest full block. Unused hours (up to 15) can be carried over to the next month.

According to NVIDIA, the restriction will affect less than 6% of users, as most play less than 100 hours per month. For example:

  • Playing about 3 hours a day (approximately 91 hours per month) keeps you within the basic subscription
  • At 4 hours a day (about 122 hours), additional costs will be approximately $15.97 on Performance or $31.97 on Ultimate
