Classic Destiny Raid and New Version of Kabr Coming to Mobile Destiny: Rising
Players will face one of the most famous opponents.
NetEase Games has revealed plans for the upcoming update to mobile Destiny: Rising, which will feature an adaptation of the Crota's End raid from Destiny. The content will be part of the third season, Season of Providence, which began on December 17.
The raid itself will be added to the game on January 3. Players will face an illusory version of the classic challenge, where they will have to fight Crota, the son of Oryx. The developers note that they tried to preserve the atmosphere of the original, although some mechanics have been redesigned for easier control on the touch screen and to suit the characteristics of Destiny: Rising characters.
Two difficulty levels are available - standard and "challenge". Unique rewards are provided for completing it, and the first team to complete the raid will be able to choose which characters will have special cosmetic items created for them. This cosmetic will later be available for purchase, but the winners of the raid race will receive it for free.
In addition to the raid, the Bulwark Ops mode will appear, reminiscent of tower defense, and the mythical character Kabr, the Unbroken. It will be available for free for participating in an in-game event.
