Nintendo fans seem to have waited for the return of one of the most famous shooter series.
After many years of absence, Call of Duty is preparing to release on Nintendo Switch 2. The series disappeared from the consoles of the Japanese company back in the days of the Wii U. Now the situation is changing — this was facilitated by the obligations of Microsoft, taken when buying Activision.
According to well-known insider Jez Corden, the version of the game for the new Nintendo console is almost ready. The delay is due to the fact that Microsoft received devkits later than other publishers. Now this issue has been resolved, and the release of Call of Duty on Switch 2 is expected in the coming months — probably in the spring.
It is not yet known which part of the series will be released first. Some fans are counting on Black Ops 7, but Microsoft may start with older games to test the platform. The Nintendo versions will have the same modes and features as on Xbox and PlayStation.
