A short bonus, conceived as a reward for completing the goals of the crowdfunding campaign, has turned into a full-fledged two-hour prequel and is already available on Steam.
South Korean studio Wonder Potion and publisher NEOWIZ have announced the release of the free A Haunted Day DLC for the action platformer Sanabi on Nintendo Switch. The DLC will be released on January 15, 2026, and will offer a two-hour story campaign set thirteen years before the events of the main game.
In A Haunted Day, players take on the role of Major Song, an officer of Uigeumbu Unit No. 12, who is ordered to move to a suspicious area with a robot dump south of Hanyang. Unlike the protagonist of the base game, who used a hook, Major Song relies on acrobatic techniques and a shotgun from the very beginning.
The add-on is already available on Steam, where it was received no less warmly than the original. A Haunted Day has 95% positive reviews based on more than 2,000 reviews, while Sanabi has accumulated about 38,000 reviews in the two years since its release, 97% of which are positive.
At the same time, Wonder Potion is working on a second free add-on. In it, players will meet the main character's daughter named Mari. The DLC is being created on an updated version of the engine and will become a story bridge between Sanabi and Sanabi 2. The release is expected simultaneously with the sequel, but the exact dates have not yet been disclosed.
