Yosuke Saito is responsible for several major projects at Square Enix.
Square Enix producer Yosuke Saito, known for the NieR series, has confirmed that he is now responsible for the Dragon Quest franchise alongside NieR. In a pre-New Year's interview, he spoke about preparing several projects that, according to him, will delight fans.
The anniversary of Dragon Quest is just around the corner. 40 years... that's amazing. Personally, after finishing my work as a producer on Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age and leaving the Dragon Quest team, I returned in April 2024 to the position of project manager for Dragon Quest due to the company's restructuring. Several projects are currently in full swing, so I will soon have more to tell. These are the kind of things that will make you say: "Wowwww!"
Saito continues to lead the NieR series, where a "small surprise" is also being prepared for the 9th anniversary of NieR: Automata.
