Hades 2 Enters Top 10 Games of All Time According to OpenCritic
Hades 2 is becoming increasingly popular and has recently entered the top ten highest-rated games of all time according to OpenCritic.
Although the project did not receive the title of "Game of the Year," for many it remained the main premiere of 2025. The score on OpenCritic increased from 94 to 95 points.
The "roguelike" from Supergiant Games remained the highest-rated game of 2025 for a long time, ahead of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (92), Hollow Knight: Silksong, and Donkey Kong Bananza (91). Now, thanks to updated scores in several publications, Hades 2 is on par with Elden Ring, Red Dead Redemption 2, Astro Bot, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
On OpenCritic, 95 points brought the game to ninth place in history. On Metacritic, Hades 2 also has 95, but due to a larger number of reviews, it is slightly below the top fifty projects. In 2026, new ports and fresh reviews may raise the game's position.
