Fans of Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord and Kingdom Come 2 seem to be in for an interesting find. The developers have published new videos that show the game in a medieval setting in more detail.
The new materials allow you to evaluate the locations to be explored in Chronicles: Medieval. The authors also showed the studio and the current stage of development.
The gameplay directly refers to the Mount & Blade series. The game will offer a sandbox in a large world with large-scale battles, as well as travels through cities, villages and castles. Unlike Bannerlord with its fictional world, Chronicles: Medieval is based on the historical realities of medieval Europe.
In the video, the developers emphasize the importance of realistic melee combat. To do this, the team uses motion capture and consults with experts in the history of the Middle Ages and fencing.
It has also been confirmed that the game will feature music by the composer of The Witcher 2.
